Accounting for Turnaround
Accounting for Turnaround provides familiarity with the accounting processes and conventions essential to reviewing and managing business activities, especially those involved with the management of a firm being re-organised.
This 5 day Executive Certificate Course builds an understanding in accounting and uses the knowledge and concepts to create an awareness of how value is created within an underperforming business. The course provides case studies on Australian and international corporations examining why they have collapsed whilst others have been revived.
On completion, participants will understand the methods used by accountants to prepare statements; review business operations using financial statement analysis tools to explore and explain changes in the operating, investing and financing activities of the firm; through to applying various Business Valuation technologies for workouts and turnarounds and to understand the issues arising in their application in a turnaround context.
