Research partners

Partnerships are a great way for industry to gain access to, and benefit from, the skills and expertise of UTS researchers. Through research partnerships, UTS seeks to offer industry relevant research, access to a wide range of the university's facilities, assets (including intellectual property), and the skills, expertise and innovative capacity of UTS' talented researchers.

Fostering links with industry and other organisations is important to UTS. Our research is industry-focused, and many of our innovative technologies and products have been developed or commercialised in collaboration with industry partners.  The Industry Engagement and Commercialisation team (IEC) is responsible for the engagement between UTS and industry.  The IEC staff have working experience in both the public and private sectors and therefore have a strong understanding of the needs of industry.
